COD Mobile Weapon Balance Changes: Mobile will introduce a slew of weapon balance adjustments that will cause havoc with the meta. In this post, you will find a comprehensive list of them.

At 5 p.m. PT on June 29, Season 6 of Call of Duty: Mobile will be released with new content including the Favela Multiplayer map, the Jackals jet, and more. This is only one of many optimizations and balancing adjustments that have been made to ensure that the game is fair for all players.

A summary of all the future content, improvements to the game’s balance, and optimizations have been released along with the update’s patch notes. Season 6 of COD Mobile will include a slew of weapon nerfs and upgrades.

The Shotgun Buffs

Even though expert players may use shotguns to great effect, there aren’t many other weapons available to them.

The SVD has been reduced in power.

Some settings are overly dominated by this weapon. We would like to decrease its control range in order to enable more countermeasures for the opponents.

There have been improvements made to the firing animations of several weapons.

Optical/Red Dot Sight/Holographic Sight/ACOG/3XTactical Scope/ADS for: QQ9/PP19 Bizon, RPD, Chicom, SKS, ASM10, and Man-O’War reduced the duration of the firing animation

Multiplayer

Changed a few Operator Skill settings

Some Operator Skills have been rebalanced in order to improve the overall performance of the game’s Operator Skills.
The following Operator Skills have been slashed in power:

  • K9 UNIT
    • HP: Reduced
  • Dynamic Armor
    • Dynamic Armor’s extra HP: Reduced
    • Energy required to activate the Dynamic Armor: Increased
  • Purifier
    • Purifier Duration: Reduced

The following Operator Skills are buffed:

  • Reactor Core
    • Burning Range: Increased
  • TAK-5
    • Team HP Buff: Increased
  • Gravity Vortex Gun
    • Bullet Speed: Increased
    • Mag Capacity: Increased
    • Max Flight Distance: Increased
    • Tempest
    • Reduced the time needed to build up power.

The pace at which weapons are closed and swapped out has been slowed down.

All weapons, save AMR and Shorty, have had their closing and exchanging speeds sped up except for these two. AMR and Shorty now interchange more quickly. The shutting time has been changed from 0S to 0.1S in order to avoid delays caused by quick switches with throwables.
